Boxful was founded in 2015 and expanded its business to Taiwan in 2016. As Boxful transitioned from its early stage of entrepreneurship to rapid growth, not only did its products and services become more diverse, but its team members increased by three to four times compared to the early days. Traditional manual operations or tools gradually became insufficient, and a more efficient platform tool was needed to enhance productivity and collaboration.
Take project development as an example, in the past, the project management, IT and customer departments used different management tools respectively. As a result, team members spent a lot of time operating systems and manually inputting related information, such as setting reminders in Google Calendar after assigning tasks in Slack. Not only did this consume valuable work time, but as product and service offerings continued to expand, the existing tools were unable to adequately support various operations, necessitating a more efficient and convenient platform to optimize employee productivity and collaboration efficiency.
After an extensive product evaluation period and the professional consultation and technical support provided by its partner, Master Concept, Boxful successfully completed the trial of Asana, an advanced platform for work management, and implemented in the third quarter of 2022. In just six months, Asana was applied to various scenarios, resulting in a multiple-fold growth in the number of users and managed projects.
“After implementing Asana, all the issues were resolved easily and unexpected benefits were brought about as well,” said Yeh Yu-Chuan, Associate General Manager of Boxful Taiwan. Compared to the past where 2 to 4 tools were required to track and manage task progress, now only one platform, Asana, is sufficient. Furthermore, cross-departmental collaboration and communication have also been significantly improved. For example, the previously 2-3 hour technical weekly meetings were reduced to 30 minutes, greatly improving the company’s operational performance. “Surprisingly, through Asana’s dashboard, I can clearly grasp the cross-departmental communication and coordination status, evaluate employee productivity, and optimize internal operational decisions.”
To Boxful, Asana is like a vast, boundless ocean with abundant resources, offering a multitude of features and services that can be quickly integrated with third-party services through its application programming interface (API). For instance, Boxful integrates Asana with Slack, enabling each colleague to explore and create methods that improve work processes and enhance quality.
