Overview
1.1 How to start a video meeting from Gmail
1. Open Gmail.
2. In the bottom left corner, click “New meeting” in the bottom left corner.
3. In the pop-up window, click “send invite” to invite people to join the meeting.
3.1 You can click “Copy meeting invite” and paste the meeting details
3.2 Or click “Share” via email to send the invite via Gmail.
4. When you’re ready to join the meeting, click “Join now“.

*Available for all Google Workspace users and the users using Google Meet with a personal account
*Tip for Google Workspace administrators: To use Meet in Gmail, the Google Meet service must be turned on in Admin console. EDU users must also have the ability to create new video meetings turned on.
