To me, editing Microsoft Office files in Google Docs is struggling ! I have to convert them to Google’s format before I could edit inside Docs…
A CHANGE IS GONNA COME ❗
One of the most exciting announcements from Google recently – We can be edited Microsoft Office Files natively in Google Docs !
We can work on the Microsoft files including Excel, Word and PowerPoint straight from G Suite without any concerns about converting files types. Adding native support allows us to do real-time collaboration in the files of Google Docs, Sheet, and Slide.
We can now comment, edit, and collaborate on Microsoft files using Google Sheets, Slides & Docs.
Supported file formats included:
Word Files: .doc, .dot, .docx
PowerPoint Files: .ppt, .pptx, .pps, .pot, .pps
Excel Files: .xls, .xlsx, .xlsm, .xlt
Google just announced that they will roll out to all G Suite customers but also regular users for this new feature, as soon as the end of this month!
I’m looking forward to this outstanding feature! Stay tuned with us!
